Apologies. Long Absence

Hi There, I Apologise for my long absence from our Blog, The weather has been so bad here, with just the occasional bright spot of sunshine. Its made it so hard to get Mum prised away from her art to get out and take Photographs. Although I might add she has been out of the house, getting soaked on many daily regular trips walking me and caring and feeding our other family member Woozle.(which is probably why she prefers to dry out a bit in between)
Its drier today, still cold but there is the promise of spring in the emerging flowers.
I am just over a year old now, and can nearly cock my leg!! Yahh..
Oh,... Poppy prompted that the last comment wasn't the sort of thing to write in a blog post,.. sorry.. :)

Snow Play

Last Night I saw Snow for the first time, its wonderful, but cold on the paws.
This morning I played in the garden and enjoyed the alfresco bird poo ice lollies, ( which I really don't like that much), but I just love to see Mums reaction and she chases me which is always fun too.
Apart from the lollies, snow really doesnt taste of much really, but its fun to jump and roll in.

Christmas Tree

We went for a little walk into the town last night it was cold but I enjoyed the walk. Dad and I checked out the town Christmas Tree, which I didn't have the heart to tell him, lots of doggies had added pee pee graffiti to. The shop windows were interesting full of lovely toys to chew, and a little Christmas tree that shot snow everywhere.

Pirates in The Crows Nests

A few weeks back I had occasion to venture into the garden again on an unusually dry and sunny day. I had had enough of the name calling as you may remember from those rude crows. Well I wasn't going to take any more of their 'dissing' me. Today as soon as the largest blackest bird dropped into the garden, I bided my time then pounced, with a broadside run and a swifty bark, I had my skull and crossbones bandana on, so I was kitted out for action. It was very satisfying, and the crows on the roof were unusually silent.
Later I found out I had seen off Captain Barbossa of the Raven Crew, (actually mum said he is a carrion crow, but I was too polite to mention that!). He bravely, I thought, dropped back in to invite me to join their Pirate clan, as he thought I was very brave, albiet foolhardy, to challenge him, as he boasted he has had many a scurvy dog's eye out, for less. As I've noticed he is always burying bread in the lawn, encouraged and thinking that was a very dog like action, I graciously accepted the offer. I have now found out via my Raven bros, that the herring gulls are led by a scurvy wench Saucy Nell, the Rooks are led by Captain Hook, The Gulls by Razor Bill, and the Jackdaws by Headless Nick, I was puzzelled by that one but Barbossa explained he tries to frighten humans by tucking his head under his wing, and still moving his feet, and finally the crows are headed up by Billy Bunter.

Autumns Here..

Hello, Its Prince, and this is my first official post, as Auntie Poppy's apprentice.
Its definately Autumn here, piles of scrunchy leaves to jump in Toadstools to roll on, slugs and Pigeon poo to investigate. I had a lovely time playing in the garden today, until a bunch of local Crow boys started cawing at me, they just sat on the roof , way up there out of reach and crow called names at me, very rude ones I think!
Anyway heres some pictures of me, cos Aunt Poppy says its 'good blogging' to add photographs. Prince x

PLEASE BE AWARE of Fur Trims and Products

Poppy and Prince would like to highlight There is a growing trade being pushed on unsuspecting consumers. Those fur trims, dyed in beautiful coloures, mixed with silk and other fabrics are mostly shipped from China.THEY are NOT BEAUTIFUL Because They once belonged to Cats and Dogs, Puppies and Kittens too, which are all cruelly skinned alive, those that don't die of shock, lay skinned and wimpering in agony thrown in heaps.
I know no one wants to see such things or hear about them, but they are happening NOW...
Please Pop over to Scout & Freyia's Blog and read how to avoid 'these' wares and how to register your protests, to STOP this vile trade.

Prince Progress Report.

Heres our boy, tired out after a full day, I'm afraid Poppy censored the second picture, as she thought it unappropriate for puppy internet viewers.
Prince is progressing well we finally got his tummy under control, which is great news, and he is proving a complete Star around the house and home.
Dad has a few problems when we let him off the lead, as he now wants to meet everyone and every dog he sees. Although he is totally friendly and doesn't jump or paw people, we realise not everyone is overjoyed to see a black streak of joyous pup tanking towards them, and the serious issue of no recall when road crossing could be involved, will have to be resolved somehow for safetys sake.

We just love him.
